BURSARIES:

Applications are invited for submission of proposals for a number of Bursaries of up to £1,000.00 each. Buraries are open to individual members of the Regional Furniture Society and students at member colleges.

Research into any aspect of regional furniture history, design and manufacture will be considered, covering any period from the earliest times to the present day. The aim of the Bursary is to help with travel and other expenses associated with original, and preferably, ongoing research.

Successful applicants will be expected to submit an article which will be considered for publication in the Society's Journal.

The annual closing date is 31 March.

Bursaries are also available to assist full time student members to attend certain events held by the Society.
